Which is better? Microsoft or Apple?
For many decades, the corporate battle between Steve Jobs's Apple and Bill Gates's Microsoft has always clashed to compete for consumer interest and investment. With the creation of many advanced technology such as computers, smartphones, tablets, and hardware, both these corporations have succeeded greatly and have become the world's leading brand of technology. However, the argument lies in which technology is better for both consumers interest and investment. Various distinctions have been found in the tech of both corporations. Apple was founded in 1976 by two soon-to-be millionaires named Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Over the last 40 years, Apple has advanced in software and technology greatly.One of their strengths can be considered in their Security. Compared to a PC running Windows, Apple Macintosh computers are less vulnerable to viruses and other malware. However, viruses are beginning to target Apple computers due to the lack of experience that manufacturers have when it comes to fighting viruses on the Mac operating system. However, one of Apple's well-known weakness lies in its overwhelming price range due to their software, repair cost, and upgrades. Still, Apple computers are usually built pretty well, with quality components.Microsoft's Strengths/Weaknesses
Microsoft is also another well-known corporation, founded in 1975 by Multi-millionaire Bill Gates. Microsoft is a great competitor against Apple, with their software that can outclass Apple in some ways. More people are using and developing software for PC's running Windows, which means there is a larger selection of software available for Windows. There is also an almost endless supply of 100% free programs, some that run on Apple computers, but the majority of which run on Windows computers only. A few downfalls, when it comes to Microsoft tech, are their vulnerable Security. Many people today are using computers running some version of Microsoft Windows, which makes it a large target for attackers. Windows computers are very susceptible to viruses and malware, especially if not protected by an anti-virus program. In My Opinion...
I cannot really choose whether which company is better than the other, but i believe Apple holds more pros than cons. Although i am a Windows user, i have come to agree that Apple's software is more comfortable and flexible when it comes to their security and operating system.
